roles are used to define the permissions and access levels for users in the
system.

Define Role Name and Description: Provide a
name and description for the security role. The name should be descriptive of
the role's purpose, such as "Sales Manager" or "Customer Service
Representative."
Set Privileges:
In the
"Business Management" tab, you'll find various privileges related to
business entities like accounts, contacts, opportunities, etc. Assign
appropriate privileges to the security role. You can allow or deny access to
specific entities and specify the level of access (Read, Write, Create, Delete,
Append, Append To, etc.) for each privilege. - Dynamics

Custom Entities:
If your
organization has custom entities, you'll find them under the "Custom
Entities" tab. Follow the same process to assign privileges for custom
entities.
Field-Level Security: If needed,
you can also set up field-level security for specific fields within an entity.
This allows you to control access to individual fields based on security roles.
