Microsoft Power Apps is a platform that enables the creation of custom business

of my last knowledge update in January 2023, Microsoft Power Apps Portals
provides a way to create external-facing websites that allow users outside your
organization to interact with data stored in Common Data Service (CDS) or other
data sources. Power Apps Portals have a specific architecture designed for
building and customizing these web portals. Here is a high-level overview of
the Power Apps Portals architecture

Portal Website:
A Power Apps Portal is essentially a website that you design
and customize using the Power Apps Portal Studio. This website is what external
users will interact with.
Portal Studio:
The Portal Studio is a web-based tool within the Power Platform
environment that allows you to design and customize the portal. It includes a
set of pre-built templates, themes, and components that you can use to create
pages and define the structure of your portal.
Content Management System
(CMS):
Power Apps Portals come with a built-in Content Management
System that allows you to manage and organize the content displayed on your
portal. You can create web pages, configure navigation, and control the layout
using the CMS.

Authentication and User
Management:
Power Apps Portals support authentication and user management
features. Users can log in using various authentication methods, including
social identities, Azure AD, or other external identity providers. You can
control access to different portal pages based on user roles and permissions.
Integration with Common
Data Service (CDS):
Power Apps Portals are tightly integrated with the Common
Data Service, allowing you to expose and interact with data stored in your CDS
environment. You can define data entities, forms, and views that are accessible
through the portal.

Liquid code is similar to other tinplating languages and is used for tasks such

Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. This integration allows you to create
end-to-end solutions that span across different Power Platform components.
